Autism assessments typically include observations, a review of any existing medical and/or school records, interviews with the person being assessed, interviews with parents and teachers, as well as psychological testing.  Testing always includes the Autism Diagnostic Observation System (ADOS-2), as part of the complete testing battery. The psychological testing typically takes between one and two sessions. The entire assessment is usually completed in less than two weeks.
